Look who has been reading in a strange place!

We look forward to seeing who else can find a funny place to read in.

Today we were set the challenge of building Percy the Park Keeper's hut.  We had to work in groups to see which model was the best!

We hope you like the huts we created!

In Year 1 we are looking to see who has been caught reading in strange places.  If you find anywhere please take a photograph and send it in to school.

As part of our learning we have been using items from in the classroom to try and make the scales balance.  It was very tricky!

Today we are starting to learn about mass.  We have been using the balancing scales to find what what is heavy and light.

Yesterday our class governor, Reverned Kim, came to visit us.  She helped us to start making our own Percy models and this morning we got to finish them.  We hope she comes back soon to see our finished work.

Look at this brilliant handwriting.  It definitely deserves to be our blog star this week.

Today we have started to work on our new display.  We have all been writing our very own Percy story.

Today we have had lots of fun sharing our learning logs and introducing each other to our new topic.  We have also met Percy.  Percy is a park keeper who has to look after all of the plants and creatures in the park.  He has lots of animal friends and we are looking forward to hearing about some…

We have now said goodbye to our last topic 'Castles' and have started to create our new topic area.  It's already starting to get full of super work.  Keep checking back to see what it is!
