Look how much fun we had at Christmas Dinner!  We had lots of fun and all looked brilliant in our Christmas jumpers.

We all really enjoyed ourselves.

Today we have been getting a bit messy! We all had to paint one of our hands and make a handprint to start our artwork.  We thought it was really funny and some of us even thought it tickled.  We'll let you know what it turns in to.

Well done to this week's blog stars...Cole and Sienna.  Miss Clegg was right to be very pleased with their work!

Look what Elfie has done!

He's left a trail of glitter around the classroom, gone in to the castle, opened the wrong doors on the advent calendars and eaten the chocolates.

Today a special elf arrived in Year 1.  He is called Elfie and has been sent from Father CHristmas to check we are being good before Christmas.

We have been very busy learning all about money in Year 1.  We had to match the images of coins to the amounts.  Didn't we do well?

Today we had a special visit from Mr Lasan.  He helped us to learn the days of the weeks and months of the year.  We hope you like the paper chains we made to help with our learning.

We have been learning all about the signs of Autumn.  One thing we noticed is how many leaves there are falling from the trees, they are everywhere!

We decided to do something about it and move them!

Today in our Maths lesson we have been learning about and making repeating patterns.

We had lots of fun!

As part of our work learning about Autumn we have made paintings of some of the trees we have seen.  We talked about which colours to use and about what is happening to the leaves.
