Today we have been thinking about the characters in Little Red Riding Hood. As a class we wrote questions for Little Red Riding Hood and then went into our groups and wrote questions for the Wolf. We then came back onto the carpet and some of us pretended to be the characters and answered theā¦

This morning we have started to look at the symbols for greater than, less than and equal to.
Comparing Numbers
Today we have been comparing numbers using the words greater, less and equal. We used equipment from the classroom to demonstrate our understanding.
Testing Our Senses
This afternoon we have tested our senses. We did a crisp taste test and a jelly smell test. We had to guess the flavours by the taste and smell.
Senses
This morning we have been using our senses to find objects in the classroom that are rough and smooth. We then used another word to describe the objects we had found.
Coffee Afternoon
We've been busy this afternoon decorating cakes for our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon tomorrow. We look forward to seeing all of the parents enjoying the delicious treats on offer.
Writing Lists
This afternoon we have been talking about writing lists. We went outside and wrote a list of what we could see.
Sorting Objects
This morning we have been sorting the objects in our classroom. We sorted them by colour and then by type of toy.
Labels
This afternoon we have been looking at labels. We have chosen labels for everyone in the class. We labelled a picture of a cat and we have used post-it notes to label things in the classroom.

Emoji Day
Today is World Emoji Day (Mrs Hall couldn't believe it either). We have done lots of activities all about emojis.
