This afternoon we have been writing labels. We wrote labels for things we could see around the classroom and stuck them on.  We then thought of words for each other that would make them feel nice.

This morning we have been sorting objects in different ways.  We talked to each other about how we had sorted the objects and Mrs Hall set us challenges to sort them in different ways to try and catch her out.

Today we have had a space day. We built our own air resistance rockets and investigated which rocket would travel the farthest.

This afternoon we have collected leaves and done a leaf rubbing. We used crayons and discussed what we could see.

This afternoon we have been scientists investigating flowers. We have used magnifying glasses and tweezers to look at the different parts.

This afternoon we have been outside looking for signs of spring. We saw new flowers, tadpoles and blossom on trees.

This morning we have started to create our Easter cards.

This morning we have been using ten frames and counters to practise subtracting numbers across 10.

This morning we have been picking litter up from around the community.

This afternoon we have been talking about the UK. We talked about the similarities and differences between towns and countryside.

This morning we have been hunting for real and alien words with the sound a-e.

This afternoon we have created our advertising campaign for our Mallow Pops. We created our pitch for the assembly tomorrow and have made posters to advertise our products.
