Year 4's Roman soldiers. 

Just a few snap shots of our Roman Workshop this morning. We have all learned a lot. Why not see what the children have remembered when they get home?

We are busy scrapbooking this afternoon. Thank you to all parents who sent in photographs and bits and bobs for their children to use. 

We are enjoying our Roman Workshop so far this morning. 

As part of our English focus for the next couple of weeks we are looking at recounts. Towards the end of this week we will be making collages in the style of a scrapbook for a class book. The children will be recounting something they didn't like or were scared of when they were little.

We have a visitor this morning in Computing. We are developing our coding skills using the program Scratch. 

This afternoon we are taking part in a BBC live lesson to help us gather ideas to write our own 500 word story. 

We are being RE detectives this afternoon using a set of clues to find a biblical character. 

Spellings and English homework were sent home on Friday. To be tested and returned this Friday. 

We have been stretching and balancing this morning in P.E. 

This afternoon we are starting our new topic which is all about the Romans. We have been learning about events that happened during this time and placing them on a timeline. 

This morning we are creating a piece of art using Roman numerals. We are working out what our date of birth is in Roman numerals.
