Skeletons
We made good use of the weather today. We went outside and used chalk to draw an outline of one of our bodies on the playground floor. We then looked for materials in the Eco garden to show what our skeletons look like. We all had a lot of fun.
PE
PE was fun today as we had a little visitor who wanted to join in and help us!
Multiplication Stories
Today, we are writing our own stories to go with multiplication statements.
Plants
We have begun a science investigation today. We want to find out if plants really do need water and how they use it.
Measuring lines
We didn't use our exercise books today - we used the tables instead!
Myths
We have used the myth of Daedalus and Icarus to develop our knowledge and understanding of closed and open ended questions.
Surprise!
Mrs. Green and I are looking forward to seeing the children's reactions when they realise that the tadpoles have hatched.
Church Service
The children were invited to take part in an incredibly moving service in remembrance of those who were involved in the accident that took place at the Unity Brook Colliery in 1840. The children were wonderful and we are very proud of them. Thank-you for your support.
Unity Brook Service
Thank you to the children who represented Year 3 at yesterday's Commemoration Service in church - they read and sang beautifully and were a credit to the school!
