Well done to this weeks winner of our brilliant behaviour award. I wonder who it will be next week? Keep going for green and it could be you!

We had lots of fun this morning outside with Year 1 looking for the solar eclipse. We were really lucky that it was a little bit cloudy so we could see the moon covering the sun. We took out a piece of card with a pin hole in it to help us see clearly what was happening. Did you see it too?

We've learnt a new song to help us understand how to tell the time. 

We have been working really hard learning to read and write our tricky words. Can you find the tricky words in this piece of writing? 

Red and green groups had a wonderful time this afternoon at their Mother's Day afternoon tea. Spending time with our mums was extra special. We enjoyed playing, giving our badges, listening to a story and giving our handmade gifts and cards. Thank you for your generosity with the raffle and I hope…

We have had so much fun learning about time so we are going to continue next week. You will be able to ask me the time in Sydney, London, Paris and Toyko. Why not pop in and see our display.

As the nicer weather approaches (we hope) we are beginning to look at spring in our local environment.  Next week we will go on a spring walk to look for signs of spring and new life.
