Our stall ready to open!

This morning we were very lucky to have a go at traditional African drumming.  We had lots of fun and learnt all about drumming in Africa and how they are part of their culture.

Today we all helped to advertise our chocolate nests.  Hopefully we'll have lots of visitors at our stall tomorrow.

We have finally started making our chocolate nests.  We have worked in teams to make them and we had lots of fun at the same time!

Today we have carried on with our work on money.  We all had a set amount and had to find as many ways as possible to make it.  We then worked with a partner and told each other how much to make.

To help us decide who is going to be helping in our shop on Friday we have been working in pairs to solve money based problems.

Today we have been very lucky to have a visit from Mrs Goodwin, who has been helping us to relax after a very busy day.

Today we have been talking all about staying safe on the internet.  We shared our own ideas and discussed them as a class.  We then thought carefully about what we can do to keep ourselves safe and what information we should and shouldn't share.

Following on from last week's fantastic competition Year 2 have challenged Year 3 to a Band Battle.  The competition will finish at 3pm this Friday.  Good luck!

As part of our Science work we have started to learn about the characteristics of all living things.  We have been looking at things in our classroom and different animals to find out which of the life processes different things can do.  We know that in order for something to be 'alive' it needs…
