Wherever you and your children may roam over the holidays whether it's by air, land or sea ( thank you Heidi for the origami collage) please pick up a leaflet so we can discover who went the furthest and plot this on our maps the first week back.

We followed instructions of how to make an origami boat. We are going to use the boats to help solve the classic river crossing challenge revamped to include a troll, a goat, some corn and of course the landowner who is attempting to get all the characters across the river after the troll…

Today we explored different brick laying techniques and replicated it in Lego and collage. The stretcher bond technique proved to be quite pesky! We found it made a much stronger wall than just layering it up, brick on brick.

Today the children used their senses to identify the Giants favourite flavour of crisp which of course was beef ... He's a carnivore after all!

Super find girls. These two girls recognised that their reading book linked to today's learning and they shared it with the class!
