We took turns to hit a piñata this afternoon. It was great fun and we enjoyed eating the sweeties that were hidden inside. 

We have just had a special visitor! 

We are having a fabulous time. More photos to follow ...

It was much too warm to stay inside today so we had our maths lesson in the Eco garden instead.  We had to find as many examples of fractions in nature as we could. 

We took part in a watercolour masterclass this morning and learned how to paint a beach scene using watercolour paint. It was great fun!

We have learned about Papel Cortado today and decided to have a go ourselves. It was a lot trickier than we thought but we all agreed that the bunting does make out classroom look quite colourful and Mexican.

This afternoon we are busy making a poncho to go on display in our classroom.

We are working with our groups today and are applying our knowledge of measurement to measure our hands, feet, forearms and heads before placing them in order of size.

We have had a fabulous time looking at our learning logs. They are absolutely wonderful! Thank-you for all of your hard work and imaginative thinking.

Here we are practising writing lead paragraphs in preparation for our writing next week.

We are using our knowledge about right angles, degrees and turns to describe a robots journey.

We have been learning about compass points today and that there are 90 degrees in a quarter turn.
