Well done Year 2 for not only epic attendance but also outstanding environmental awareness not only winning the golden boot, but also the eco prize for the week!

We have been using our learning wall to help up level our knowledge of time, why not have a try at home.

Well done to Ruby and Isaac for really uplevelling your handwriting in all you do!

Tomorrow Year 2 will be getting creative with paint, if you would like to send in an old shirt or apron for your child to paint in please do so. 

Please help your child to be confident with  this aspect of the curriculum by giving your child the opportunity to read both analogue and digital clocks.

For the remainder of the week the children will be applying their knowledge of fractions and multiplication to confidently tell the time to five minutes. Wish us luck! Don't forget to check out the time learning tiles on our learning wall via the Year 2 main page.

The children struggled to make a strong wall using stretcher bond bricklaying techniques despite our research.
