We are big fans of Michael Rosen in Year Three. Which is your favourite poem and why?

Isabelle said. Chocolate cake is her favourite poem. She said this without looking at the above picture?
She said she finds it really funny because he eats all the chocolate cake in the middle of the night.
Her second favourite is strict because the teacher is really strict as they are bot allowed to breath in the class but he was smart because a boy opened his desk to take gasps but if he slammed the desk he got sent to the dungeon for three weeks and he complains to the teacher there are rats down there and they are nibbling his toenails. A smart idea was the foam around his desk.
We spent the first week off school listening to Michael Rosens poems and stories and talking about them.

Chocolate Cake is a firm favourite in Year 3. It seems to get the most giggles from the children.
I am glad that you both like Michael Rosen poems - you both like the same ones and, do you know, they are my favourites too!

We will look at this tomorrow! Weve had a chillout week as I should if been in Spain for my 8th birthday this year! Instead i had a Zoom kick boxing party! And a bbq!!

I'm so sorry that you weren't able to go to Spain for your birthday. It does sound as though you had a lot of fun at home instead.
