How are you going to be kind today?
As you know this week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is kindness. One way that my son and I are going to show kindness today is by making a bird feeder to add to our growing collection in the garden! We have been feeding our feathered friends for a number of years so we have many visitors to our garden.
This is a nice idea:
You just need to spread the outside of an empty toilet roll with nut butter and roll it in birdseed.
Or you could:
Whatever you decide to do, have fun and make exciting memories with your grown-ups

Hi Miss Kinsey. Me and Amelia have just made a bird feeder. We used a pipe cleaner out of her arts and crafts tub and we threaded cheerios onto it. Its hung in the garden in the tree now so we will be watching to see if any birds come and eat it. Thanks for the idea

Oh brilliant! Fingers crossed that you get lots of feathered visitors. We hung up half of a coconut that we smashed open (not a task that I would recommend!) and I am hoping that they like it.
We have lots of blue tits and great tits that visit and sometimes ring necked parakeets visit but, goodness me, they are noisy!
There is a really nice tick list from the frugi website which might be handy. I will link it below:
