World Book Day - Year 4
Verruca and Mary worked particularly hard in Year 4 today.

We are discussing trust in our RE lesson today. The children have been showing how much they trust each other. As well as thinking about what makes a person trustworthy.

Lots of discussion this morning, comparing different versions of fairytales.
Important letter coming home tonight
Your child is coming home with a letter about Parents evening.
Slips must be returned by Friday 2nd March (this Friday)
World Book Day reminder
Following on from the post before half term - World Book Day is this Thursday (1st March). Children may come in a costume as a book character of their choice.
Dressing up is not compulsory. However, if children are not in a costume they must be in full uniform.

Online learning
We are working on IPads this afternoon as we start our new topic, learning all about Humans and other animals.
Story mapping
We are creating story maps this morning, to retell the fairytale The Princess and The Pea.
We will be looking at fairytales in English over the next couple of weeks.
Batik creations
Just a few of our fabulous creations from our Batik enrichment.
World Book Day
It is World Book Day on Thursday 1st March. To celebrate this we are asking that children come dressed as one of their favourite book characters. There will be lots of fun activities on the day.
