I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the children that came back to school for the production last night. They all sang their hearts out. Thank you to parents for bringing to and collecting from school.

This afternoon in year 5, as part of our topic, we have been learning all about the gestation periods of animals. The children have learned lots of interesting facts. Why not have a chat with them tonight and see what they can remember!

Tomorrow Year 5 will be spending the day in Year 6 in preparation for September.

The children will be continuing with bikeability tomorrow. The instructors have asked if they could bring a small backpack to hold a water bottle and a small snack (something they would bring for healthy tuck), as they will be out riding for most of the day.

Today and tomorrow year 5 are taking part in Bikeability, where they will be taught all about road safety on their bikes. 

Our furry friends have now turned into chrysalides. The children have been observing the caterpillars everyday and we have produced our own diagrams of the changes we have seen. Over the next week or two we should see these turn into beautiful butterflies.
