A perfect picture!
Emily did a fab portrait of Mrs Hughes (Shoes!) .
What beautiful writing too - well done!
Happy Little Gardeners!
Reception Class were very busy in the garden planting lots of beautiful plants. What a difference a bit of colour makes!
First time
For PE tomorrow we will be going onto the field. Fingers crossed everyone has remembered to bring their kits back to school along with a pair of Velcro trainers.
Spring is here!
We had a lovely time this morning out on our spring walk up to the farm. Farmer Lomax introduced us to a very cute and young lamb. He was only 1 week old!
Happy Easter
We hope you have a fabulous holiday and we look forward to some interesting writing about what you have been up to. Don't forget to send us some postcards on Orbit about your exciting time away from school. Enjoy!
Our Learning
When we return to school after Easter we will start our learning looking at Spring, in conjunction with Ben & Holly's little Kingdom.
Dig, dig, dig!
Using the large wooden spoons and spatulas was definitely a favourite! But can you guess what we found?
A musical garden.
We had great fun unpacking lots of parcels and choosing where to put them.
Busy weaving.
The Eco team were hard at work at lunchtime creating a rope screen near the compost bins.
Outdoor play
We had lots of fun outside with the chalks. Not quite sure what happened. There seems to be more on the children than on the playground!
Dig, dig, dig!
We were very lucky to have some help in the garden today from parents. We had lots of bushes, plants and trees to plant. The Eco garden is starting to get some colour again and fingers crossed over the next few weeks we will start to see a lot more.
Brilliant behaviour!
Well done to this weeks winner of our brilliant behaviour award. I wonder who it will be next week? Keep going for green and it could be you!
