Happy Diwali
This week we have been learning all about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. We have tasted Indian foods, designed diva pots and today we have made a large rangoli pattern. These patterns are what the people who follow the Hindu religion would put outside their front door to welcome everyone…
Bonfire Treats
This morning we have been very lucky and tasted some traditional bonfire food. We all liked the Parkin but we weren’t very sure about the black peas! I wonder what treats you will taste over the bonfire weekend?

When we came to school this morning we found a footprint. We tried to guess who it belonged to. Then we went on a hunt with some magnifying glasses to see if we could solve the mystery.

In Reception today, as part of our celebrations, we have been learning about Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy!
Would you believe it though, we think Bottomley Potts has been to school this morning and hidden his gravy bones! We have had lots of fun trying to find them all!

This morning we have been very busy playing the jelly bean game. We had to use our listening skills and make sure we stayed in a space. #verytrickywhenyouareonly4
Colour mixing
Today we had lots of fun colour mixing. We used our hands to mix the colours together.

This morning we put on our waterproofs to go on a puddle hunt. We found some small puddles and some big puddles, we also found some very deep puddles. It's good job we had our waterproofs on to protect us!
A special visitor
Mr Williams came into our class today to show us a special machine that he uses a lot of the time during Autumn. I wonder if anyone can remember what the machine is called?

Our wedding was fantastic today. We all enjoyed taking part and learning about the different types of weddings that can happen around the world.

Wedding preparations have started early this morning. Fingers crossed the sun will shine on our happy couple.
