This week it is Minibeast week!!!!!!
What type of minibeasts can you name?
Minibeasts are invertebrates – they are creatures without backbones! If we didn’t have a backbone we’d be like a jelly and be all floppy!!!
Have a go….
- Go on a minibeast hunt outside. Make a tally chart to help you count each one you find.
Spiders- lll
Earwigs- llll Can you remember what to do at 5?
- When you are back home have a go at making a block graph about what you found! (I will send an example if you are not sure) Which minibeast did you find most of? How many minibeasts altogether?
(If you didn’t find many minibeasts why not collect information about something else? Maybe count different groups of things? Ask all your family members what their favourite crisps are?)
- What are your favourite minibeasts? Make a set of top trump cards/information fact cards or even a minibeast information book all about them?
(I will post a special chart for you to see how you could sort your information)
