Sentence challenge!
Can you make a list of adjectives to describe the dragon?
Can you make a list of verbs to say what the dragon is doing?
Can you make a list of adverbs to describe how the dragon is eating?
Can you now write a sentence using a verb, an adverb and at least one adjectives?
Sick sentences!
These sentences are ‘sick’ and need help to get better. Can you help?
The boy held out some food. The dragon ate it. He was green and had horns.

Adjectives
The dragon is ENORMOUS and very LOUD. He is different shades of BLUE and GREEN.
Verbs
The dragon is EATING the food. If the dragon leans any further he could FALL but save himself by FLYING. The dragon hides himself when he is scared.
Adverb
The dragon is eating SLOWLY. He is EAGERLY waiting for more food. When eating he leans CLOSELY for his food.
Our sentence..... The ENORMOUS BLUE/GREEN dragon is EATING SLOWLY.

Amelia did the following sentence with no input from me.....
The little boy held out some flaming food. The dragon was the colour of the ocean, a mix of blue and green together. He had some cute little horns.

You have both worked really hard - well done! :)
Can you remember what expanded noun phrases are? They are also known as 2a sentences - two adjectives describe the noun. For example, The moss-green, gentle dragon hiccuped and toasted the soft, pink marshmallow in the young boys hand.
Maybe you could write some 2a sentences to describe your favourite toys
