Do you remember when I gave you two text messages? Darth Vader sent one to Luke Skywalker and Dobby sent one to Harry Potter and we had to write them out into our books but to include the inverted commas. Below is a part of a text message that Horrid Henry (blue) has sent to Perfect Peter (grey) and you will need to to do the same. Now, we use the term 'inverted commas' but your grown-ups might know them as 'speech marks' - they are both the same thing. We just use a fancier word!
Here is an example:
"Do you want to help me with my homework, Henry?" enquired Peter.

"Do you want to come to the park?" asked Amelia.
"Sure" answered Skye.
"Do you want to go on the swings first?" exclaimed Amelia.
"I love the swings" answered Skye.
"Me to" replied Amelia.
"OK let's go" shouted Skye.
All this is Amelia's own work. I had no input other than typing it up as she hand wrote it.
