We had a WONDERFUL time at the museum yesterday! The above photograph shows some of the activities that we did in the rocks and soils workshop. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to take my camera into the mine itself but I can assure you that it was brilliant fun. An ex-miner took us on a guided tour of the mine and it was an enthralling experience for us all.
