Year 6 Blog

We are designing and creating models of buildings inspired by French architecture that we have studied, as part of our 'French Day', in Year 6. 

A great way to improve the understanding of what you are reading. When did you last use yours? Did you record it in your 'reading record' book? 

We are learning that even large supermarkets are trying to do their bit by recycling. 

We are now learning about the sustainability of fish as a food source. 

We are hunting for 'Fairtrade' items with the highest cocoa content. 

We are taking part in the 'Farm to Fork' sustainability workshop at Tesco this morning. 

Parents, don't forget that it is Y6 SATs information evening after school tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you there. 

After a Busy Easter holiday revising, Year 6 are back working hard in an important term. 

We are now performing Stitches by Shawn Mendes, using instruments. 

We are working with Mr Duffy from Kearsley Academy on a class ensemble. We are applying lots of musical terms and skills.
