This morning in Numeracy we had lots of tricky challenges to solve.  Look at what we had to do!

This morning we received a very special parcel.  We had no idea who it could be from, but we decided it must be from a child as we spotted some spelling mistakes.  Did you see them?

Well today we have started to make our treasure maps.  We had lots of fun working outside with our special paint, can you tell what we used? Why don't you ask us?

This morning we have been busy working in groups to write a set of instructions to explain how to find the pirates' treasure.  We had a lot of fun and are now going to make maps to show the journey we have created.

As part of our Topic work we are learning all about Katie Morag.  This morning, in our Numeracy lesson, we used our knowledge of the Katie Morag stories to create a pictogram to show our favourite characters.  Do you know a pictogram is? Why don't you ask us to explain!

Well done to this week's Handwriting superstar who worked really hard, without any help!  

We have started learning all about Katie Morag and where she lives on the Isle of Struay.  Did you know that the Isle of Struay is based on a real Island called Coll?  It is in the Inner Hebrides off the coast of Scotland.
