Number Work
Look at how much fun we've had in our Maths lesson today!
Leprechaun work
As part of our Topic work we've had lots of fun learning about leprechauns. We have all made our own leprechaun to help us with our work.
Mother's Day Cards
Our blog was a bit quiet last week because we didn't want anyone to see our special cards and spoil the surprise. We hope everyone enjoyed receiving their cards, we had lots of fun making them.
World Book Day
Look at all of our fantastic costumes for World Book Day.
Block Graph of Costumes
In Year 1 we worked as a class to make a block graph to show the range of costumes we have for World Book Day. We also talked about what the graph shows us. After play we went on the computers to make our own graph.
Look how tall we are!
This week in our Maths lessons we are learning about measuring. We've had lots of fun measuring each other!
World Book Day
On Thursday 1st March (the first Thursday after the half term holidays) we will be joining in with World Book Day. Every child will need to come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book. Please see the newsletter for more information.
Spellings
These are our spellings for the first Friday after the half term holidays. Thank you.
Ash Thursday
After our visit to church Reverend Kim came to see us in school. She brought some ash and those of us who wanted, had a special cross made on our hand.
