We have started our music topic focussing in Samba. 

Firefighters have been in to talk us about safety on Bonfire Night.

We are using the opportunity to look at a poem by Michael Rosen to perform to the rest of the school on Friday.

Preparation is underway for today’s coffee afternoon. We hope to see you there.

One of today’s activities was reading to their reception buddy and talking about the story.

The children are being scribes and writing in Egyptian hieroglyphs. It is believed the Egyptians had 700 different hieroglyphs, unfortunately we haven’t got 5 years to learn them all like the Egyptian scribes.
