Remember as part of our SATs preparations we will be attempting our mega maths challenges daily. Good luck!

Year Two would love to be the first class to use this technology in school so could all consent forms be returned so that we can access this time saving device and empower our children.

Please return your consent form and payment ASAP ( if you haven't already done so) so that your child can take part in this excursion to celebrate our knowledge of materials from this terms topic.

Don't forget that your child will need to make an Easter Hat at home for our Easter Assembly that is held on Thursday morning. There is a prize for each class. Please bring your hat to school on Thursday morning ready for our parade.

Take a look at these shapes, your child should be able to name a square, rectangle, circle, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and maybe some of the others including the ability to sort them into shapes with similar features or properties.

This week Mrs Robinson and I have been unable to choose Reader of the Week as the children haven't been demonstrating their usual high standards of reading at home. Please keep up with your child's regular reading to help build stamina, word recognition, comprehension and spelling which is a life…

Well done everyone who achieved full marks more than a third of class achieved this. Of the children that gained full marks only one quarter were boys meaning three quarters were girls. Come on boys I know you can do this let's even the fractions out next week!
