Some of Year 4 designing t-shirts this week in enrichment. Next week they will be using the technique of batik, using wax and ink, to create their finished pieces. 

This morning we have been building a story by creating simple sentences and linking them with conjunctions. 

We are using number fans to help us understand the place value of decimal digits this morning. 

The children have been sent home with English homework this week. To be returned by Friday. 

Here are this week's spellings. To be tested next Friday. 

Year 4 have been let loose on the instruments this morning. We have our very own class full of cornet and baratone players! 

Just a reminder that it is Parent Information Evening tonight.

This afternoon Year 4 have had their first lesson with our specialist P.E coaches. 

In English today we have been looking at fables. In small groups the children were given a moral that they had to plan a piece of drama around. The rest of the class had to try and guess what the moral of the story was.
