I'm still enjoying seeing all of your super work on Class Dojo and I'm amazed by how many certificates you are achieving on Study Ladder, well done everyone! Don't forget there's also Bug Club which has reading and maths activities set and Times Tables Rockstars.
Here are some ideas you can do this week,
Maths - can you make a fact family for some of your times tables facts, don't forget you need 2 multiplications and 2 divisions to make the family or you could make a fact family for some number bonds to 20. Number bond fact families need 2 additions and 2 subtractions. I wonder if anyone can even make it in a house like we do in school?
Maths - https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/ This is also definitely worth a look. It's linked to the Maths scheme we use in school and there is a daily lesson and activity. This is the link for this week's work.
English - https://resource-bank.scholastic.co.uk/content/40114 I shared this on Dojo a few days ago and the children who have looked at it have enjoyed doing some of the activities. Year 2 love Julia Donaldson's books and this work is based all around the different stories.
VE Day - as it is VE Day on Friday why not find out what it is all about. You could find out about the children who lived during this time, learn some songs and dances, maybe even do some baking using old recipes. Will you be decorating your house? Why not make some bunting to put outside?
Most importantly, remember to keep yourselves safe and keep checking Dojo for daily updates.
