42000 steps covered in just over 24 hours with 30 children and 2 other fab members of the St Stephen's Team, one open top bus ride, a fab night time walk with a bit of bat spotting, a wonderful pause for reflection and prayer in St Oswalds Church, a surprise encounter with six owls, awe and wonder at the flyby of a bomber plane, one traffic survey, a water study, a building use survey, awesome views, scenery and weather,  a poetry recital in Wordworth's Daffodil garden, delicious hot food prepared by the YHA Team, a purchase at the world famous gingerbread shop and sightings of the visiting deer...thank you Grasmere but it's time for a sleep! The children did both you and the school proud. Thank you for allowing your child to attend such a memorable residential!
