Tomorrow the children will attempt their first mega maths challenge. Last week each child came home with their challenge to work on. The children will now attempt it in class. When the children have gained full marks on three occasions ( in school) they will then move onto the next challenge. Each challenge is differentiated to meet your childs needs and growing confidence. At certain intervals your child will receive a special certificate during celebration assembly to reward all their efforts and growing maths confidence and fluency. Please help your child to reach their full potential by quizzing your child regularly using a range of mathematical vocabulary eg plus, total, add, more, increase, altogether etc as shown on the mega maths sheets.
