Reception Blog

Today we talked about how and where we would wear our Wellington boots. We then enjoyed listening to the story about Peppa and her Golden Boots.

We have been learning a new song today during wet play at lunch time with Mrs Leach.

Today we had lots of fun colour mixing. We used our hands to mix the colours together. 

This morning we put on our waterproofs to go on a puddle hunt. We found some small puddles and some big puddles, we also found some very deep puddles. It's good job we had our waterproofs on to protect us!

Mr Williams came into our class today to show us a special machine that he uses a lot of the time during Autumn. I wonder if anyone can remember what the machine is called?

This morning Mrs Goodwin, our Learning Mentor, came to introduce herself to us. She also brought her friend, Ginger. She has told us where her room is and that this is where Ginger lives. Mrs Goodwin read us a nice story about Little Hedgehog. I wonder if anyone can remember what happened to…

Look at our lovely self portraits. We worked very hard to remember to draw all the different parts of our body.

We are now getting really good at our keep fit song. Each morning we will look for a KeepGit King and Queen and celebrate their efforts.

Today we were introduced to the 'keep fit' song and busy bee activities. I wonder who will remember the moves for tomorrow?

Whilst we were busy exploring in the Eco Garden Mr Williams showed us that something special was hiding in the polytunnel. Can your child remember what it was?

Reception and Year 6 are working together to plan, design and make a kite to fly on our trip on Friday. 

Our wedding was fantastic today. We all enjoyed taking part and learning about the different types of weddings that can happen around the world.
