Athletics Superstars
They went, they threw, they jumped, they raced - and then they came back again. Our Year 5 Athletics Team represented the school well at Kearsley Academy this afternoon - showing great skill and determination - often against older pupils. Well done everyone!

So True, Sir Alex.
After refereeing the lunchtime football today - I've got to agree. Natural ability will get you so far but only when it's matched by 100% effort will you really be the best you can be. (And win 2-1 ). I'm happy to say that it's been a hardworking start to the week.
Fine Dining Friday
Is that ANOTHER week gone? Time flies when you enjoy yourself - I certainly did that this lunchtime with last week's Star Award winners. Well done!
School Council Meeting
Had a really good meeting with School Council earlier this week - they've had lots of good ideas for improving the school environment and are also thinking about ways in which we can raise funds for our partner school in Gambia. Watch this space!
Top Table
A fine set of guests joined me at Top Table today. Top manners, top conversation, top appetites!
Ready for Brass
Regular readers of this blog (if there are any!) will know how much I enjoy Friday mornings because the Year 4 Brass Group practise in the hall and make a wonderful sound. Always a great way to end a busy week.
