Special Visitors
The theme of our Science WOW Week is 'Journeys' and how better to illustrate 'Flight' than with a visit from some VIOs (Very Important Owls). All classes had a chance to get up close and personal with four feathered friends.
We Have Lift-Off!
Two hundred paper planes - all bearing a question of scientific interest - take to the air during assembly. All questions will be answered by the children and then returned to flight on Thursday. It was a great way to launch our WOW Week.
WOW Week Assembly
It's a VERY special week at St Stephen's and Miss Kinsey launched our Science WOW Week in style this morning. (Note all the paper aeroplanes ready for takeoff!)
Top Table
I LOVE Friday lunchtimes! I get to sit and chat with the previous week's Star Award winners (and a free lunch!). Well done to everyone on Top Table this week.
Brilliant Young Writers!
Three brilliant writers from Reception Class knocked on my door this afternoon to share their stories with me. I was VERY impressed!
Don't Worry - Be Happy
For Year 6 pupils this is a BIG week! Andrea and Y2K are providing a special SATs breakfast every morning and I'm confident that everyone will do their best. Good Luck!
Warbling on the Wards
Members of St Stephen's School Choir visited the wards of Bolton Hospital today to help staff and patients celebrate International Nurse Day. They were in fine voice and were, once again, a credit to the school!
Top Table - Top Guests
Well done to last week's Star Award winners who joined me on Top Table today.
