This week we have celebrated Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Light.
We tasted foods from India.
We danced in best dress clothes that would traditionally be worn by families celebrating the New Year. We added Bhind's to our forehead to bring us good luck too. 

We made our own decorations and filled our classroom with light to welcome in the Gods and Goddesses.
We had lots of fun making our own Rangoli patterns linking this with our Maths sessions too.
Finally, we made cards and took them home to continue our celebrations over the weekend for Diwali.
