This week we have been looking at descriptive writing.  We have deconstructed texts by looking at how the author used all of their senses to describe what the character could see, hear, smell, touch and how they were feeling.

Today we went outside and chose a spot in the playground. We completed a table to describe what we could see, hear, smell, touch and how we felt.

Tomorrow we are going to use this information to write a setting like the examples we saw earlier this week.
