To consolidate our understanding of the Easter story we talked about the Last Supper. We found out that a Simnel cake is a traditional cake eaten at Easter. The children were keen to help make the marizipan spheres that represent Jesus' eleven special friends - we know they are called disciples and that Judas betrayed Jesus.
