Roman Roads
This afternoon we have been using the coordinates skills we learned in Maths last week to help us to read maps. We had a list of towns and cities and the Roman roads that were built to connect the two.

Roman coins
Yesterday we looked at a collection of replica Roman coins. We used pencil to sketch the coins and today we have used clay to create our own Roman coins.

Miss Moss has set us a challenge. Some of us had to use our times tables knowledge to recreate a multiplication grid. We worked together to place the jigsaw pieces into the correct place on the grid.

Danger'ous' Suffixes
This morning we have been transforming nouns into adjectives. We have looked at the different rules when adding the suffix 'ous' to root words.
Stop Motion!
This morning we had a first look at stop motion animation. We used equipment from the classroom to create our own animation. It's a very long process but definitely worth the effort!
Dance Superstars
We have continued our dance routine from last week. We did very well with some of the complicated rhythms!
Class Governor Drop In
Today our class governor, Mr Hall, came in to see us. He had a look at what we have been doing in Maths and English and is looking forward to coming on our trip to Chester!
Dance Stars
We have really enjoyed our first danced lesson. We warmed up and stretched our muscles before beginning to learn a new routine. Miss Moss is looking forward to joining in next week!

We have been learning a new sentence type today. We use different sentence types to make our writing more exciting and interesting.
Our new sentence type is called the '2 more' sentence. It includes an emotion word, comma and an action.

This morning we have been using the Hopscotch app to write our names using code. We used straight lines and then tried to use code to put our names in cursive.
