Welcome to Year 6

Please take a look at the information below for suggestions to keep your child busy during these uncertain times............

Our teacher in Year 6 is Mrs Kerr and she is helped by Mrs Stott. It is an important year for us as it is our last before we move on to high school! We always try our best in all that we do whether it is working hard towards our SATs or being a role model to the younger children in our school. Why not have a look at what we have been doing lately by checking out our class blog by clicking the link below...

We also have our own Learning Wall - see link below. We use the resources on the Wall to research out topics and curriculum work in school. Please use these resources at home to further develop your child's learning.

Class Novel

In Year 6 we are reading the novel 'Thief!' by Malorie Blackman.

You're the new girl in school. You're just trying to fit in - and it's not working. Then someone accuses you of theft, and you think things can't get any worse. Until you get caught in a freak storm . . .

The next thing you know, you're in the future. Being shot at for being out after curfew. You don't even recognise your hometown. And you're heading for a confrontation from your worst nightmare.
