Welcome to Year 3
Miss Kinsey is our Class Teacher and the children are supported by Miss Smith. We work very hard and always try our best. If we have completed any special work in class we will share it with you on our Year 3 Blog. Please click the link below to see our Blog.
We also have our own Learning Wall - see link below. We use the resources on the Wall to research out topics and curriculum work in school. Please use these resources at home to further develop your child's learning.

Year Three Curriculum Overview
Multiplication Tables Check
This term our topic challenge is called The Industrial Revolution This is a local history based topic where we will be learning about what life was like in Kearsley during that time. We will be looking at old maps and comparing them with how Kearsley is now and we will find out what life was like for children. We will also be learning about the coal industry, how coal is formed and of the importance of healthy eating.
We are reading The BFG by Roald Dahl which is about a Big Friendly Giant who spirits an orphan, Sophie, out of bed and takes her to the land of the child-eating giants. We are enjoying this book immensely and read it as often as we can.
